Police Football Club have added another signing ahead of the 2023/24 season.
Former Katwe United defender Allan Bukenya has officially been unveiled on a two-year contract with the Cops.
"Defender Allan Bukenya has joined Police FC from Katwe United," Police FC tweeted.
"The lanky fullback, formerly at Kyetume FC and Soana FC Junior Team, has penned a two-year deal to stay with us until 2025."
Following the failure to earn promotion to the Uganda Premier League, Police FC have been actively rebuilding their team to return to top-flight football.
Arua Hill striker Isaac Ogwang and Ivan Eyam are among the players who are reportedly set for unveiling.
Police also recently relieved head coach Angelo Lonyesi and his entire backroom for falling short of guiding Police FC back to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League and losing to Vipers SC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup finale.
Former Proline Football club coach Simon Peter Mugerwa is reportedly at the steering wheel of the Cops.
