Posta Rangers sit top of the table after seven games and one of their former coaches thinks they can take advantage of their rivals’ struggles to finish in the top five
Former Posta Rangers coach Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omollo feels the club secure a top five finish in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League due to the struggles of other teams who normally contest for those positions.
Rangers have started this season brilliantly which sees them top of the table with 16 points from five wins, one draw and a loss.

FKFPL Posta Rangers coach John Kamau disappointed after shocking loss to Talanta
Posta Rangers coach has expressed disappointment after FC Talanta ended unbeaten streak
John Kamau’s men have recorded some eye-catching results along the way, such as their 3-0 thrashing of Kenya Police on matchday two, before they were brought down to earth by FC Talanta who beat them 3-1 last weekend.
Nonetheless, Omollo feels the mailmen have stayed true to their style of starting the season well since they benefit from their anonymity in the early days before opponents begin to study them as the games progress.

FKFPL Alfred Tanui's brace for Talanta halts Posta Rangers unbeaten season start
Posta Rangers' unbeaten run ends as FC Talanta secures victory with Alfred Tanui scoring a brace for the winning side.
“Posta have always been having a very good start in the league, this is not the first time. They just lost their first game on Saturday and I believe they have new players who are not known to many coaches and to most of the teams so it is very hard to plan when you play against Posta Rangers,” he said.
With Gor Mahia just one point behind, Omollo, who coached Rangers between November 2016 and January 2019, does not feel they have the quality to win the league but can take advantage of some of their rivals’ poor start to the season to get into the top five.

FKFPL Fleet-footed Curtis Wekesa reveals reason behind Posta Rangers' impeccable form
Wekesa has been an integral part of John Kamau’s side as Rangers have taken the FKF Premier League by storm so far this season.
“There is always pressure when Gor are breathing down your neck, I have been in that situation when I was with Tusker and if you do not win, you know they will overtake you so you keep on trying hard. It is something that spurs you,” he added.
“Winning the league is a big call for Posta Rangers and they have started quite well. But I believe this season, when they have very good support, from Posta then top five is not badly off. I am looking at other teams, Bandari, Tusker, Sofapaka, AFC Leopards struggling so Posta can find its way up there.”

FKFPL Kamau contemplates how Posta Rangers can sustain impeccable league start
John Kamau is looking for ways to help his side maintain their lead at the top of the table as Posta Rangers have taken the league by storm so far this season.
Rangers similarly started well last season when they collected 11 points from their first seven games after three wins, two draws and a similar number of losses before they faded off to finish the campaign in 12th position with 40 points.
They host Bandari on Saturday looking to bounce back to winning ways but John Baraza’s men will not be pushovers having secured a win against AFC Leopards last weekend.
