Brighton are set to ask Chelsea for a fee in excess of £100m for midfielder Moises Caicedo, using the Declan Rice transfer as a benchmark.
Caicedo is Chhelsea's top target as the Blues seek to rebuild after a disappointing season.
The Ecuador international has solidified himself as one of the Premier League's best performers over the last 12-18 months and saw a potential move away from Brighton in January scuppered by the club's hierarchy.
Chelsea informed of Caicedo's price
Chelsea are back in for the 21-year-old but Brighton value him highly and according to the Telegraph, will only let him leave for around £100m, a fee similar to what Arsenal have agreed to pay West Ham for Declan Rice.

4 players Chelsea MUST sell before pre-season
Chelsea have conducted a summer clearout over the past few weeks but there are still four players Mauricio Pochettino must get rid of in the next few days.
Chelsea broke the British transfer record to sign Benfica midfielder Enzo Fernández in the January window for £106million. N’Golo Kanté, Mateo Kovacic, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek have all departed which means there is an urgent need for a new addition in central midfield.
Caicedo has a contract at the Amex Stadium until 2027, with the option of a further year, and any bid that falls significantly short of the Seagulls' asking price is expected to be rejected.
