Four-time Uganda Premier League champions URA FC are set to finalize the signing of winger Ibrahim Kasinde.

A representative of the player confirmed the developments, asserting that a move to the Tax Collectors is imminent.

"We are not renewing at Bright Stars because we want a new challenge for the player," preferring anonymity, the representative told Pulse Sports Uganda on Sunday.

"There are positive talks with URA at the moment. There were also interests from outside Uganda, it's open."

Kasinde, has been a mainstay in Bright Stars' team for the past three seasons making 73 league appearances out of a possible 88, netting seven times in the process.

In the most recent campaign, he played 22 games in the league, netting twice, adding five assists to his name.

It was however, in the Uganda Cup that he excelled most, as his scored thrice and added six assists in as many games, winning the Playmaker of the competition award.

Kasinde has in the past, played for Kampala University, Busujju Ssaza, Ssingo, Gomba Ssaza, as well as Masaka City FC and Kalisizo KM.
