Iwobi’s impressive Pre-Season
The midfielder's standout performance came in Fulham's final warm-up game against Hoffenheim, where he provided two delightful assists to help secure a comfortable 2-0 victory.
Iwobi's first moment of magic saw him delicately chip the ball over the Hoffenheim defence, setting up new signing Emile Smith-Rowe to slot home the opener.
He then repeated the trick, this time providing the assist for fellow new arrival Adama Traore to double Fulham's lead.
These impressive displays, which also included an MVP performance against Benfica in Portugal, have left Iwobi brimming with confidence as he looks ahead to the new season.
"PreSeason Was Sweet... Season Ready!" the Nigerian international declared on his social media platforms, underscoring his belief that he is primed to make a significant impact in the upcoming campaign.
Continued Premier League Success
Iwobi's readiness comes on the back of a strong 2023/24 season, where he continued to cement his place as a key figure in the Premier League.
The midfielder scored six goals and provided two assists in 33 matches for Fulham, helping the club secure a mid-table finish.
His performances also saw him write his name in the Premier League record books, as Iwobi equalled the record for the most assists made by a Nigerian player (29), drawing level with the legendary Kanu Nwankwo.
With his preseason form, confidence, and recent successes, Super Eagles playmaker Iwobi appears poised to take his game to new heights in the 2024/25 season.
Fulham and Super Eagles supporters will be eagerly anticipating his continued development and his potential to lead the team to greater heights in the upcoming campaign.
