Nigeria and Super Eagles playmaker Alex Iwobi has assessed himself ahead of the new Premier League season for Fulham.

As Fulham completed their pre-season preparations ahead of the 2024/25 Premier League campaign, one player has emerged as a key figure for the Cottagers - Nigeria and Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi.

Iwobi, 28, has been in remarkable form throughout Fulham's pre-season matches, showcasing his playmaking abilities and leaving no doubt about his readiness for the new season.

Iwobi’s impressive Pre-Season

The midfielder's standout performance came in Fulham's final warm-up game against Hoffenheim, where he provided two delightful assists to help secure a comfortable 2-0 victory.

Iwobi's first moment of magic saw him delicately chip the ball over the Hoffenheim defence, setting up new signing Emile Smith-Rowe to slot home the opener.

His performances also saw him write his name in the Premier League record books, as Iwobi equalled the record for the most assists made by a Nigerian player (29), drawing level with the legendary Kanu Nwankwo.

With his preseason form, confidence, and recent successes, Super Eagles playmaker Iwobi appears poised to take his game to new heights in the 2024/25 season.

Fulham and Super Eagles supporters will be eagerly anticipating his continued development and his potential to lead the team to greater heights in the upcoming campaign.
