Tottenham made it 5 Premier League wins on the spin as they defeated Nottingham Forest 3-1 to move into the top four.
Ange Postecoglou's Tottenham Hotspur claimed the top spot in the UEFA Champions League race by securing their fifth consecutive Premier League win against Nottingham Forest, who are battling relegation.
Ange Postecoglou's team were fortunate to go into halftime on level terms but surged in the second half, boosting their Champions League aspirations.
They climbed to fourth place, edging past Aston Villa on goal difference. Tottenham gained an early advantage with a 15th-minute own goal by Murillo, who nearly scored from his own half moments earlier.
Tottenham keep top-four charge alive
The home team equalized when Chris Wood scored in the 27th minute. Soon after, Forest missed a golden opportunity as their striker hit the post from close range. Spurs regained the lead early in the second half with a powerful shot from Van de Ven.
Porro extended their lead six minutes later, securing the win and ending Forest's three-game unbeaten streak.
This victory moved Spurs into fourth place, while Forest, missing the injured Taiwo Awoniyi remained just above the relegation zone on goal difference.
