Manchester City forward Erling Haaland is excited by reports of Jadon Sancho's possible return to Borussia Dortmund from Manchester United.

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has given his thoughts on Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho nearing a sensational return to Borussia Dortmund.

Sancho could end his nightmare at United following talks between the Red Devils and Dortmund for a loan until the summer.

Following reports of the imminent transfer, Haaland took to his Instagram account to share his thoughts on Sancho’s possible return to the Yellow and Black.

The 22-year-old Champions League winner reposted on his Instagram story a post with a picture of the City boy and Sancho during their time together in Germany.

The original post was captioned “once upon a time,” with two pictures of Sancho and former teammates Jude Bellingham and Haaland.

In his reply, Haaland described Sancho as a “Proper baller that,” adding an emoji that clearly shows how highly he rates the banished United star.

Sancho and United

The 23-year-old has become surplus to requirement following a fallout with manager, Erik Ten Hag.

Sancho refused to apologise to the Dutchman for a statement he posted on his social media accounts that disagreed with comments made by Ten Hag last year.

He was subsequently punished and banished from the team and has not been seen with his United teammates since August last year.

Sancho joined the Red Devils three years ago in a celebrated 73 million pound move from Borussia Dortmund after he had scored 50 goals and assisted 58 more.

Sancho and Haaland played for a season at Dortmund, winning the DFB Pokal.
