With their triumph in the Kampala Regional League, Prosper Soccer Academy now turns its attention to the highly anticipated national championship.

In a remarkable feat during their inaugural season, Prosper Soccer Academy has emerged as the victors of the highly competitive Kampala Regional Juniors League.

The best teams from each region will converge at the renowned FUFA Technical Center to determine the ultimate national champion.

Reflecting on their success, head coach Ronald Ssali expressed immense pride in the team's performance and unity.

He stated, "We played gallantly and collectively as a team from the start to finish. We identified the right players who have committedly done the job.”

“I wish to thank the players, my fellow coaching staff and parents for the collective duty at hand. We remain focused for the nationals at Njeru," he added.

The young talents of Prosper Soccer Academy displayed exceptional skill and unwavering determination, amassing an impressive 78 points throughout the league.

Their journey to glory reached its crescendo in a thrilling final match against NEC Soccer Academy, held at the revered Kawempe Muslim Secondary School playground.

Joseph "Morata" Kisekka of NEC Soccer Academy gave his team an early lead in the fifth minute.

However, the joy was short-lived as Fred Muwanguzi from Prosper levelled the score, beating goalkeeper Silas Ssemaka with an impressive strike

Kisekka restored NEC’s lead with a sublime lob over the advancing goalkeeper Nasse Kaluuru in the 20th minute.

The resilience of Prosper shone through as Patrick Ouke scored their second goal, equalizing the score just before the halftime whistle.

In a second-half display of dominance, Franklin Tamale secured the lead for Prosper with a decisive header, ultimately leading them to a hard-fought 3-2 victory.

The players and officials of Prosper Soccer Academy were accorded a well-deserved guard of honour, where they proudly received their winners' gold medals and the championship trophy.
