Moroccan superstar Hakim Ziyech is heading to PSG on loan after the French club reportedly agrees a fee with Chelsea
Paris Saint Germain are set to sign Moroccan star Hakim Ziyech on loan till the end of the season after reaching an agreement with Chelsea.
The deal is being reported as a simple six-month loan deal till the end of the season without an option or obligation to buy.
PSG are reportedly paying some unspecified amount as a loan fee and are presumably also covering Ziyech’s not inconsiderable wages
Ziyech to PSG here we go!
Acclaimed transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed the deal had gone through before the transfer window shut on deadline day with a tweet.
The Italian journalist tweeted, "PSG are set to sign Hakim Ziyech, here we go! Deal agreed and unlocked on a loan move until June, NO buy option clause included."
Fabrizio's tweet also revealed that the Chelsea payer had already undergone a medical in Paris ahead of the loan switch.
French publication, L’Equipe earlier reported that having passed his medical with Les Parisiens earlier in transfer deadline day, Ziyech was pushing for Chelsea to facilitate his loan move to the French capital.
It appears Chelsea have now opted to grant the Moroccan international his wish to leave on loan to play with the stars of PSG.
Ziyech joined Chelsea in 2020 from Ajax on a five-year deal but hasn't had the career he hoped for at Stamford Bridge so far.
His stellar performance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar made him an attractive transfer target once again, drawing attention from PSG.
