PSG manager Christophe Galtier has reportedly been taken into police custody over allegations of discrimination while in charge of Ligue 1 side Nice.
Galtier was manager of Nice for 12 months before landing the PSG job last summer and guiding the Parisians to a league title.
PSG's Galtier arrested
According to RMC Sport, the 56-year-old and his son John Valovic-Galtier, who works with Galtier, were taken into police custody at 8:45am on Friday as part of an investigation into alleged discrimination at Nice.
The report also claims that the pair are facing accusations of racism from former Nice sporting director Julien Fournier.
According to French outlet L'Equipe, Galtier is alleged to have made discriminatory, racist, and Islamaphobic remarks during his 12-month tenure at the club, accusations that the PSG boss has strongly denied.
Meanwhile, PSG are close to the appointment of Luis Enrique as new manager with Galtier set to be exiled after failing to achieve the club's target for the season and losing the trust of the fans.
According to Le Parisien, Enrique will put pen to paper on a two-year deal to kickstart a new era in Paris.
