French giants Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly ready to pay a world record fee to replace Kylian Mbappe

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly eyeing Barcelona's world-class talent, Lamine Yamal, as a potential successor to Kylian Mbappe.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the Ligue 1 powerhouse are preparing a staggering bid exceeding €250m to secure the services of the highly-rated teenager.

The fee would exceed the current world-record €222 million spent on Neymar, also by PSG in 2017.

PSG to replace Mbappe with Lamine Yamal

Following Mbappe's departure to Real Madrid, PSG are on the hunt for a versatile and creative attacker to fill the void.

The club's sporting director, Luis Campos, enjoys a strong rapport with legendary agent Jorge Mendes, who represents Yamal, which could prove instrumental in PSG's pursuit of the young sensation.

The Paris club were linked with Napoli's Victor Osimhen but are now expected to pursue other targets as manager Luis Enrique looks to restructure his attack for next season.

Osimhen has also been linked with a move to Arsenal but his next destination is anyone's guess at the moment.
