Aaron Ramsdale has been named the Premier League Goalkeeper of the Year at the London Football Awards.
The goalkeeper was part of the Arsenal quartet that dominated the awards after Mikel Arteta, Martin Odegaard, and Bukayo Saka won manager of the year, player of the year, and young player of the year, respectively.
Ramsdale named goalkeeper of the year
Aaron Ramsdale was named the Premier League goalkeeper of the year at the London Awards held at the Roundhouse in Camden, London.
The England international won the awards ahead of Brentford’s David Raya, Fulham’s Bernd Leno, Chelsea’s Kepa Arrizabalaga, and Leyton Orient’s Laurence Vigouroux.
The goalkeeper has been impressive for the Gunners this season, as he is joint-top for Premier League clean sheets along with Newcastle United’s Nick Pope.
Arsenal are on course to win their first Premier League title since 2003/04, as they sit five points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table.
