Super Falcons coach is unclear
Randy Waldrum’s position as Super Falcons coach has been unclear since he called out the NFF just before the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Meanwhile, The NFF has denied rumors that the body has sacked Randy Waldrum as Super Falcons coach.
In a statement from the NFF, Ademola Olajire, head of communication, mandated its Technical Committee to hold discussions with the Super Falcons’ Head Coach, Randy Waldrum, with a view to extending the latter’s contract with the NFF.

Nigerians have vented their frustration on FIFA after Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie was not included in the Women's Goalkeeper Nominees.
“We have given the Technical Committee the go-ahead to hold talks with Randy Waldrum as we consider an extension of his current contract with the NFF. They have to do this quickly as the team has a Women Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match next week.
“The man has done well by leading the team to an impressive outing at the FIFA World Cup,” NFF President, Ibrahim Musa Gusau, said on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, while announcing the squad to face Sao Tome, Olajire didn't make any clarifications regarding the status of the coach, but a source confirmed to Pulse Sports that the coach will be retained.

Netizens have asked the NFF to unveil the coach that release the squad for the AWCON qualifiers in Lagos.
"Which Coach release this list abeg? I want to know before I react," Obina Ubanekwo asked NFF on X
On his part, Glover Jnr added, "Who invited the players since we don't have coach and why not continue with the brilliant squad at the world cup and jus add some new players . Ebi should be a technical support not a player."
