However, the Madrid giants scored twice through Luka Modric in the 85th minute and Jude Bellingham in the fifth minute of second-half stoppage time to seal the away side's comeback. 

Real Madrid hit 5000-point LaLiga milestone

Friday’s success saw Real Madrid achieve a historic milestone, becoming the first team to reach 5,000 points in LaLiga history.

In addition to this remarkable points tally, Los Blancos have scored 6526 goals, won 1833 games and lifted a record 36 LaLiga titles.

Trailing the Madrid giants are their rivals Barcelona (4,887 points and 1771 wins), Atletico Madrid (4018 points and 1410 wins), Athletic (3771 points and 1313 wins) and Valencia (3767 points and 1285 wins).
