Real Madrid legend Marcelo has had his contract terminated by Fluminense after an altercation with his manager.
The 36-year-old left the Bernabeu after 15 incredibly prosperous years in the Spanish city, winning five Champions League trophies.
He played for Olympiacos for a season before joining Fluminense, his boyhood club, in his native country last year.
Marcelo played in 68 games for the Brazilian team and helped them lift the Copa Libertadores title for the first time in their history.

Marcelo sacked by club
On Saturday, Marcelo was getting ready to enter the field as part of a double change that also included the arrival of Marquinhos.
But as Menezes gave Marcelo instructions on the sidelines, the ex-Real Madrid man appeared to refute what he was being told.
This led to the manager becoming furious before he pushed Marcelo and told him to sit down again.
Marcelo went to the bench and put his bib back on, but he watched as Fluminense drew 2-2 with Gremio and his club gave up an equaliser in stoppage time.
Fluminense then confirmed Marcelo's departure from the team and the termination of his contract in a statement after the game.
The statement read, "Fluminense FC and Marcelo Vieira announce the termination of the contract by mutual agreement between the parties.
"Trained in the youth categories, Marcelo returned to Fluminense in 2023, having participated in the conquest of the 2023 Campeonato Carioca titles, the unprecedented 2023 Conmebol Libertadores titles and the 2024 Recopa.
"The institutional and emotional ties between Fluminense and Marcelo continue to be maintained. The athlete's name was recently immortalized in the stadium at the Xerém training center.
"Fluminense thanks Marcelo and will continue, as always, to support his success in all his challenges."
