Osimhen has been in exceptional form in the last couple of years for both club and country.
The Super Eagles star won the league title with Napoli, led the highest goal-scorer chart with 26 goals and also helped the Nigerian national team reach the final of the 2023 AFCON tournament in Ivory Coast.
Meanwhile, Martínez won two Serie A titles with Inter Milan and also the 2022 World Cup with Argentina.

Cassano settles debate
Antonio Cassano, who played for Inter Milan, has made the argument that Lautaro Martínez is currently one of the top five strikers in the world and Osimhen is not close to his level.
In an episode of Bobo TV, via MSN, Antonio Cassano said, "Some say that Osimhen is ahead of him, never.
“Lautaro Martinez today is one of the five best strikers in the world; he makes the difference. He is very strong, he can score goals, he can make the team play, phenomenal."
Meanwhile, Osimhen, who has scored 12 goals in 15 games since arriving from Galatasaray, has completely changed Turkish football.
The Nigerian international added to his goal tally and opened his 2025 account in their 3-1 win on Saturday against Goztepe.
