Elyaz Zidane bursts unto the scene with Real Madrid’s U19 team
Zidane is one of the most popular and respected football players of all time after a sterling career with France and Real Madrid. He has also made a name for himself as a top coach, winning the UEFA Champions League title three times in a row with Real Madrid, but has not had the luck of finding an heir to his legacy amongst his sons.

Zidane opens up about returning to management
Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane talks about returning to football coaching.
The former gaffer and three-time FIFA World Player of the Year has been blessed with four sons but has been unable to pass on his mantle, with the boys struggling to make a name for themselves in their careers that can be compared to that of their father.
However, Elyaz, Zidane’s last son, could be set to change all that after getting rave reviews following his first goal for Real Madrid’s U19 team.
Elyaz Zidane destined for greatness
Despite being only 17, Elyaz is already playing in the U19 team, taking an early step up in his career as he looks to emulate his father’s incredible career.
The young Frenchman plays as a left-back unlike his father, who played as a central midfielder and has already trained with the Real Madrid first team despite his young age, while also becoming a key member of the U19 side.
Zidane has had two other sons, Enzo and Luca, play for Real Madrid’s first team, while another son, Theo, currently plays for Real Madrid Castilla, but none of them has generated as much excitement as Elyaz, who is tipped to put the Zidane name back on the map of world football in the coming years.
