Los Blancos want to add to their already star-studded squad with more Kylian Mbappe-like signing next summer

Real Madrid are reportedly preparing to make two major free-agent signings in 2025 in addition to signing French star Kylian Mbappe this summer.

Alphonso Davies deal nearing completion

According to reports in Spain, Real Madrid have already agreed a deal on personal terms with Alphonso Davies since March 2024 and are almost certain to sign the defender when his Bayern Munich contract expires.

With contract renewal talks between Davies and Bayern Munich at an impasse, the Canadian left-back is likely to make the switch to the Bernabéu for free next summer.

Known for his blistering pace and final third input, Davies is expected to reinforce Real Madrid’s left flank, which already includes Vinicius Junior and Mbappe.

Trent Alexander-Arnold also on Real Madrid's Radar

Los Blancos are also expected to complete the high-profile signing of Trent Alexander-Arnold at the end of the 2024/25 season.

Although no agreement has been reached yet, the England international is also out of contract at Liverpool next summer and the Galaticos hope to swoop in with a lucrative signing bonus to lure the right-back.

If Alexander-Arnold joins, it could mark the end of Lucas Vázquez’s time at the club and present competition for Dani Carvajal, who remains in top form.
