Real Madrid missed the chance to go four points clear at the top of LALIGA after drawing with neighbouring Atletico Madrid.

Real Madrid were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw by a late Marcos Llorente strike leaving them in touching distance at the top of the log.

Real Madrid hosted Atleti at Santiago Bernabeu for a chance to exact revenge after an embarrassing 3-1 defeat in the first-leg. 

Victory would have also meant Los Blancos moved four points clear at the top of the log, but their neighbours continued to be a thorn this season, forcing shared spoils.
