Arne Slot delivers the goods for Liverpool
On Tuesday night, Liverpool defeated RB Leipzig courtesy of a Darwin Nunez strike, setting a new club record in the process.
The win marked the first time in the Merseyside club’s 132-year history that a manager would win the first six away games of a season.
Also, Arne Slot has become the first coach in the English Premier League to win the first 11 of 12 games in charge across all competitions.
Reacting after this feat, Arne Slot said it’s always nice to achieve something that no one has achieved in the past.
"So many great teams have worn this shirt, so many great managers have been at this club. So if you can achieve something that hasn't been achieved before, it is almost impossible at a big club like this. To achieve it is always nice,” Slot said.
