Report: Champions League-chasing club express interest in Super Eagles star Tolu Arokodare

A Champions League-chasing club is preparing to sign Nigerian striker

Newcastle United is reportedly interested in signing Nigerian striker Toluwalase Arokodare from KRC Genk in the summer transfer window.

The 24-year-old has been impressive for Genk, scoring 20 goals and delivering 5 assists in 38 games this season.

Manager Eddie Howe is said to be a fan of Arokodare's profile and has convinced the club's management to pursue the striker.

According to information from Africafoot Newcastle has already made contact with Genk. Still, the Belgian club is demanding a €17 million transfer fee to release Arokodare, who has a contract until June 2027.

Arokodare's impressive stats and versatility on the field make him an attractive prospect for Newcastle. Standing at 1.97m tall, he is known for his exceptional ability to play with his back to goal and score from various positions.
