New insights have emerged regarding Victor Osimhen’s loan move from Napoli to Galatasaray this summer.
Osimhen signed for Galatasaray on a season loan deal after a failed move to a top European club during the summer transfer window.
The striker transfer saga caused a lot of tension for both the player and Napoli, with the likes of PSG, Chelsea and Al Ahil having a go for his signature.
However, his proposed move did not materialise following a failed negotiation from all parties involved in the deal.

Napoli clause on Osimhen deal
The Nigerian striker is scheduled to stay with the Turkish team until the end of the campaign, but he may go as early as January due to a crucial clause.
As per Tutto Napoli, Ciro Venerato stated on Rai 2's Domenica Sportiva that Osimhen would depart Galatasaray in January if a non-Italian team pays an approximate €90 million fee.
Galatasaray would also receive severance money if this occurred. However, the condition stops any Italian teams from making the transaction go into effect.
In June, Osimhen will be available for a somewhat lower fee—there won't be any severance—if no change happens in January. Additionally, Napoli has the unilateral right to retain him through 2027.
Meanwhile, Osimhen has made a tremendous impact for Galatasaray since joining the Turkish side.
