Victor Osimhen could be heading to the Premier League this summer, but not to Chelsea, Arsenal, or Manchester United.
According to Football Insider, Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis is plotting an audacious move for the red-hot Galatasaray striker as his side inches closer to securing Champions League football next season.
Osimhen, currently on loan in Turkey, is expected to be at the heart of yet another high-profile transfer battle, with several European giants vying for his signature.
The Nigerian forward has one year left on his Napoli contract, which reportedly includes a release clause of around £63 million.
Premier League heavyweights such as Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United—as well as French giants Paris Saint-Germain—are all monitoring the situation closely. With such stiff competition, Nottingham Forest will have to pull off a major coup to land the prolific goal-scorer.
The East Midlands club already boasts two Nigerian internationals: Ola Aina, who has emerged as one of the league’s standout full-backs this season, and Taiwo Awoniyi, whose campaign has been hampered by injuries.

Despite missing several games, Osimhen has been in scintillating form for Galatasaray, netting 26 goals and providing five assists in just 30 appearances. He currently leads the Turkish Süper Lig’s goal-scoring charts with 20 goals—two more than his closest rival.
Osimhen is determined to fire Cimbom to back-to-back league titles, with the club aiming for an unbeaten season. His electrifying performances have already made him a fan favourite in Istanbul, but with Europe’s elite circling, his stay in Turkey could be short-lived.
