The big-money summer signing has targeted top opposition for his competitive debut after foot surgery.

Manchester United's summer signing, Leny Yoro, is eagerly awaiting his debut for the club after a pre-season foot injury sidelined him.

The young defender underwent surgery and was initially expected to be out for three months.

“Manchester United defender Leny Yoro has today had a successful surgery on his foot injury,” a club statement in August read. “Our summer signing from Lille sustained the injury during the team’s recent friendly match against Arsenal in Los Angeles, USA. 

"Yoro’s rehabilitation starts now and we look forward to the 18-year-old returning to fitness in around three months."

When is Yoro looking to return? 

According to the Mirror, Yoro has his sights set on a potential comeback in December when United face Arsenal, implying a partial return to training sometime in mid-November, marking a significant step in his recovery.

The 18-year-old French centre-back has been working diligently on his rehabilitation since the injury, and fans are hopeful that he will soon be ready to showcase his talent on the pitch.
