The 27-year-old forward has been absent from the matchday squad for the past five games and was an unused substitution in Manchester United's defeat to Newcastle.

Marcus Rashford has reportedly turned down three offers from Saudi Arabian clubs, each worth up to £35 million per year (over 67 billion naira), as his future at Manchester United remains uncertain.

The 27-year-old forward has been dropped by new head coach Ruben Amorim, and United are reportedly willing to let him leave during the January transfer window.

However, Rashford is only interested in joining a club in a competitive league that would offer him a chance to regain his place in the England national team.

According to Daily Mail, despite the lucrative offers from the Saudi Pro League, which would have surpassed his current £315,000-a-week salary at United, Rashford has rejected them.

He has also ruled out any potential moves to Turkey to reunite with his former coach, Jose Mourinho.

Rashford, who last represented England in a friendly against Brazil in March, was notably absent from the Euro 2024 squad. He is, however, determined to impress new England manager Thomas Tuchel and earn a recall.

Although Rashford expressed his readiness for a "new challenge" last month, he remains open to staying at Manchester United, where his contract runs until June 2028.

Sources indicate that he is hoping for a recall from Amorim and is prepared to give his full commitment to the team. However, his 20-year association with his boyhood club could be coming to an end.

To comply with profit and sustainability rules, United are willing to consider offers for Rashford this month, including loan moves, provided the receiving club pays a fee and covers a significant portion of his wages. Any move, however, would require Rashford's approval before his representatives, his brothers Dwaine Maynard and Dane Rashford, would engage in negotiations.

Rashford has been absent from the matchday squad for the past five games, starting with his exclusion from the Manchester derby last month. He returned to the bench for the game against Newcastle on Monday but remained an unused substitute in United's 2-0 defeat.

His exclusion has reportedly surprised some of his United teammates, especially considering he is still the club's joint-top scorer in the Premier League with four goals.

He has a strong record against Liverpool, having scored seven times against them, but it is unclear whether Amorim will recall him for the upcoming match at Anfield on Sunday.
