Manchester United chiefs have reportedly reached out to former Chelsea boss Graham Potter to replace Erik ten Hag.

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is facing mounting pressure at Old Trafford due to the club's dismal start to the season.

It has been a turbulent season, with 12 losses in 24 matches across all competitions, including a bottom-place finish in the Champions League group and a Carabao Cup exit.

The Red Devils are currently 9th in the Premier League and the uncertainty surrounding Sir Jim Ratcliffe's investment has delayed decisions about Ten Hag's future.

Now, according to Metro UK, United's senior figures are interested in appointing ex-Chelsea boss Graham Potter should things fail to improve.

Potter has been out of a job since being sacked by Chelsea in April.
