One Los Blancos star is rumoured to be facing growing criticism from colleagues due to concerns raised over his recent performances.

Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni is reportedly facing growing doubts from his teammates over his recent performances.

The French international has struggled to impress this season, and his latest underwhelming display in the Spanish Super Cup defeat to Barcelona has further fuelled concerns.

According to reports from The Athletic (via GSFN), several members of the Real Madrid dressing room have lost confidence in the 24-year-old, who has been criticised for his inconsistent form.

Tchouameni, who joined the Spanish giants from Monaco in 2022, initially impressed with his performances; however, his form has dipped this season, and he has become a target for criticism from both fans and the media.

While some teammates have defended the Frenchman, pointing to the fact that injuries at centre-back have meant Carlo Ancelotti has been forced to play Tchouameni in defence, others are reportedly concerned about his overall contribution to the team.

What next for Real Madrid?

The defending LaLiga champions, a point behind Barcelona, do not return to league action until January 19 against Las Palmas.
