Adepoju urged Nigerians to back Chelle to achieve success with the Super Eagles.
Former Nigerian international Mutiu Adepoju has called on Super Eagles players and Nigerian fans to support the newly appointed head coach, Eric Chelle.
Chelle, who was officially named the new coach by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) yesterday, is expected to arrive in Abuja on Sunday to finalise his contract.

Speaking to Brila FM, Adepoju urged unity behind Chelle to maximise his chances of success.
"I think the best thing we can do at the moment is for the Super Eagles to support the new coach, Eric Chelle, and hope all works out well," Adepoju stated.
He also acknowledged the NFF's decision-making process, adding, "Nevertheless, I think the NFF has taken a decision, thinking that it’s the right decision.”
The 47-year-old first challenge as the new Super Eagles coach is to revitalise their 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign.
