The law enforcers still expect 'one or two' more additions after fendering off competition from Gor Mahia to snapping up Kenneth Muguna and Tyson Otieno
Kenya Police head coach Francis Baraza still expects to make more signings despite having a bloated squad, following the addition of midfielders Kenneth Muguna and Tyson Otieno this month.
Police have become spendthrifts over the last couple of seasons, sinking deep into their pockets to acquire high caliber players to help them achieve their objective of winning the FKF Premier League title as soon as possible.
They recently tied down Muguna on a free transfer from Azam, and snapped up Tyson Otieno from Kariobangi Sharks after the youngster enjoyed a stellar season for the Nick Mwendwa-owned outfit.

FOOTBALL Deadline approaches for Gor Mahia, Homeboyz to finalize continental competitions player registration
K'Ogalo and Homeboyz gear up for continental showdown as CAF introduces expanded squad limit.
Unsurprisingly, it has resulted in the former Sony Sugar tactician having a bloated squad to work with, which has raised concerns about how he will keep all those players happy.
“When I got into the team, I realised that the number of players we had was too huge,” Baraza told Pulse Sports. “Some positions were also imbalanced because some areas had more than enough numbers,” he added.
“I had to ship out a few players on loan so that I would get room to work with the rest. The season is now over. I sat down with my technical bench and we have identified who we need and who we do not, and we have to ship out three or four on loan.”

FOOTBALL AFC Leopards give update on search for new coach
Ingwe's plans were thrown into disarray after the previous occupant of the position resigned.
Police have already confirmed the release of Lesley Otieno, Kevin Mwaura, Clifton Miheso and Derrick Otanga. Baraza has revealed he may need to sign two more players, including a striker to complement last season’s record-breaking goalscorer Elvis Rupia.
“We wanted to sign three or four players. We have done just two so far, but I need another striker. The top scorer, Elvis Rupia needs someone to compliment him," added Baraza.
“Competition for him (Rupia). Ideally, I want a centre forward who is good in the aerial duels and also holds the ball up. A young striker ideally to learn from him as well.”

Ng’ang’a was arguably one of the best defenders of the season and had there been gifting of awards, it would not have been surprising to see him lift that accolade.
