Rivers Angels and Delta Queens have started their journey to become Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership champions with a victory in their Super Six opening games.
Rivers Angels defeated Robo Queens 2-0, while Delta Queens beat Confluence Queens in the second game of Matchday One.

NWFL Super Six started on Tuesday at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba.
It was goal galore in the second game of the day as the host, Delta Queens, defeated Confluence Queens 3-1 in the opening game of Group B.
The epic clash witnessed drama and talents displayed by both sides. In the 19th minute, the deadlock was broken as Ekpenyong Effiom fired the hosts in front with a superb finish.
A few minutes after Peter Martha levels for the visitors with a mouthwatering finish.
Samuel Vera restored the lead for the hosts in the 34th minute, before Ekpenyong Effiom sealed the victory for Delta Queens in the 90th minute.
In the last games in Group B, Confluence Queens will battle Edo Queens on Wednesday, while Edo Queens will lock horns with Delta Queens on Thursday.
