The second stanza of the Nigeria Women's Football League (NWFL) as Robo Queens and Nasarawa Amazons starts with an away win.
The league took a break after matchday seven to allow for mid-season transfers, which were between January 23 and February 3.
Robo Queens pick six points from Adamawa Queens
Robo Queens defeated Adamawa Queens home and away after the Lagos-based side defeated the team on home soil on Wednesday.
Esther Onyenezide, a former Falconets striker, helped Robo Queens defeat Adamawa Queens in Yola with her brace.
During the first leg fixtures, Robo defeated the Adamawa Queens 3-0 at the Legacy Pitch, National Stadium, Surulere.
Nasarawa Amazons Pick Maximum points in Aba
The Nasarawa Amazons picked up maximum points when they traveled to Aba for a clash against the Abia Angels.
Dominance Odubanjo opened the scoring for Nasarawa against Abia Angels in the 35th minute before Josephine Mathias made it 2-0 in the 65 while Nmesoma Ibe reduced the tally for the host.
Rivers Angels shared the spoils with Royal Queens in Port Harcourt, while Delta Queens and Bayelsa Queens also played to a 1-1 draw.
Osun Babes is the only team with a home win, as they defeated Hearland Queens in Osun.
The last game of matchday eight between Confluence Queens and Ibom Angels of Uyo will be played on Friday, February 10th.
