The Uganda Cranes star's cameo came six minutes before another Serbian, Uros Stamenic, struck the winner, for their first victory in the last five games.

Ten days after nailing a move to North Macedonian outfit Brera Strumica, attacker Rogers Mato was giving his first competitive minutes at the club.

Mato came on in the 84th minute for Serbian national Djordje Ivkovic as Brera Strumica edged Sileks 1-0 at the Sileka Stadion in Kratovo on Sunday.

The Uganda Cranes star's cameo came six minutes before another Serbian, Uros Stamenic, struck the winner, for their first victory in the last five games.

Following the win, Mato and his side sit seventh on the 12-team table with 23 points accumulated in 19 games.

They continue their battle to stay in the league, as they currently sit three points ahead of the last relegation position occupied by Voska Sport.

Meanwhile, it should be recalled that Mato completed his move to Brera Strumica just moments after his exit from Turkish outfit Sanliurfaspor.

That was less than a year after his departure from 13-time Uganda Premier League champions KCCA FC.
