Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr manager Rudi Garcia has been dismissed after it was reported by a Spanish outlet, Marca that he had a confrontation with the players.
The Frenchman has reportedly been sacked less than a year after he first took the reins at the Saudi Arabian club.
With expectations not being met on the pitch, club chiefs have reportedly opted to sack him with seven games of the season to go.
Al-Nassr failed to build on an emphatic 5-0 win last week, instead, following it up with a tepid 0-0 draw with Al Feia on Sunday which set things in motion. Ronaldo stormed off the pitch in the wake of that result and tempers reportedly flared up in the dressing room.
According to the report, Garcia said at full-time that he doesn’t feel satisfied with the team’s performance and things turned out ugly.
The report also suggests that the Portugal captain, Ronaldo is not happy with Garcia and his tactics as he believes the coach could be getting much more from Al-Nassr players.
A further report from AS has claimed a secret meeting was also held between Ronaldo and club chiefs and the talks are said to have seen Ronaldo express his dissatisfaction with Garcia's approach.
Al-Nassr are in second place, three points off table toppers Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League.
