After the game at the Emirates, Roy Keane voiced his rage about the overly cordial behaviour of the Arsenal and Manchester United players.

The Gunners left it late against the visitors as they secured a 3-1 victory over arch-rivals Manchester United.

The game came with a lot of dramatic moments, from an Arsenal penalty being overturned to a Manchester United late goal being cancelled by VAR.

Keane has now criticised the warm introductions between the competing teams, in which Marcus Rashford hugged England teammates Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka.

Keane’s statement after the game

The Manchester United legend was unhappy with the attitude of the players after both team players hugged themselves after the game.

He said as reported by the Sun, "Look, all jokes aside, I am looking in the tunnel there.

"Everyone thinks I am old school, but you don't want to be chatting with people you are going into battle with - because you are going to be kicking lumps out of each other.

"I'll shake your hand after the game, but not before you go into a battle. But hey, maybe these younger players will educate me.

"I’m disgusted with players. You’re going to war, they’re hugging and kissing. Don’t even look at the opposition. You’re going into battle against them.

"The game hasn’t changed that much. The players have changed. You’re going to war against these players, and they’re hugging each other. Chat to them after the game, or don’t even chat to them after the game."

The Gunners go into the international break with their heads held up high after a hard-fought victory over Man United.
