The result left the Rwandans in Group L with three points trailing Mozambique by a point, but the Spaniard believes there’s still hope to qualify.
“I am disappointed with the result but not with how my team played,” Ferrer said, adding that;
“We have a point difference from the second team and they will have to come to play here. I am positive [because] the group is still open.”
Rwanda will face Mozambique in June in a do-or-die affair as they have to travel to Senegal for the last game. Senegal qualified after winning all their opening four games in the group.
