Salah and Nigerian star make the Arsenal team
The duo of Salah and Nwaneri, who recently penned a new deal, are two of Arsenal's most highly rated youngsters and Arteta is looking to create a pathway for the two stars.
Other notable names in the team include skipper of the side Martin Odegaard headlines the squad, which also includes key players such as Ben White, Gabriel Jesus, and new signing Jurrien Timber.
Other first-team regulars making the trip include Emile Smith Rowe, Eddie Nketiah, Fabio Vieira, and Reiss Nelson.
However, some notable absences are explained by international commitments. Gabriel Magalhaes, Gabriel Martinelli, and Kai Havertz, who progressed further in Copa America and Euro 2024, will join the squad from July 25.
Meanwhile, players involved in the latter stages of Euro 2024 - including new signing Declan Rice, Aaron Ramsdale, Bukayo Saka, David Raya, and William Saliba - will reunite with the team upon their return to England.
The Gunners' US tour kicks off with a match against Bournemouth at LA Galaxy's Dignity Health Sports Park on July 24, followed by a high-profile clash with Manchester United at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on July 27.
The tour concludes with a coast-to-coast journey to Philadelphia, where they'll face Liverpool at Lincoln Financial Field on August 1.
The tour will not only serve as crucial preparation for the upcoming season but also as a platform for young players to impress and potentially cement their places in Arteta's plans.
