Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah has revealed his footballing idols and inspirations.
Mohamed Salah has opened up on the players that shaped his early footballing career, and eventual growth into one of the world's finest talents.
Salah, 32, is regarded as one of the Premier League's greatest-ever players, in the company of the likes of Thierry Henry, Frank Lampard, and more.
Since returning to England in 2018, Salah has won 3 Golden Boots, and led Liverpool to their first league title in 30 years, including UEFA Champions League honours in 2019.
In a recent interview with Sky Sports presenter Kelly Coates, sponsored by Standard Chartered, Salah spoke about his influences and inspirations as a footballer.
"I love the way the Brazilian Ronaldo was playing, and Zidane and Totti.
"These guys, I look at them and they just enjoy the game.
"Also, Cristiano Ronaldo was the one when I started playing in Europe. The way he dedicated himself to the game was insane."
Salah played with Totti during his two-year stint at Roma and was full of praise for the Italian legend.
"I had an opportunity to play with Totti for two years in Rome, and he was an incredible footballer and great person."
Salah has been on fire this season, contributing 10 goals and 10 assists in 17 games.
