Slum Boys gave away two cheap penalties with incredible degree of rashness throughout the fixture.
Mathare United head coach, Sam Koko has revealed his unhappiness about his side’s “rash decision making” on both ends on the pitch during the 2-1 loss to Kariobangi Sharks at the rain soaked Kasarani Annex on Tuesday afternoon.
Although the Slum Boys lost 2-1 thanks to a penalty brace by former Wazito midfielder Tyson Otieno, they were arguably the better side, constantly creating waves of attack and pinning back Sharks, but just could not find the finishing touches to give them the win.

The former Wazito midfielder netted two penalties in either half.
“We did not get the result we wanted although we were the better team,” he said, “we created waves and waves of attack but just were not efficient in the final third,” he added.
“We had gone 4 matches without scoring and today, we created chances and lacked composure in the box. Everyone wanted to score. We were too rash today, and that ultimately cost us the game.”
Koko’s concern is justified, considering the fact that Mathare gave two cheap penalties away, epitomizing the rashness his side showed all over the pitch.
