Tore Bobe's relentless effort fell short against Bandari on Sunday with coach Kambona reflecting on missed opportunities in a tense match.
Shabana FC assistant coach Oscar Kambona could not hide his disappointment as he watched his team miss one opportunity after another in their 2-1 loss to Bandari FC.
Despite a commendable performance, Shabana's string of missed chances at the Mabraki Sports Club in Mombasa on Sunday saw them slump to their third consecutive defeat in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL).
The match, which began with an energetic pace, saw Bandari striker Derrick Nsibambi break the deadlock, giving his team a 1-0 lead heading into the half-time break.

FKFPL Sam Okoth on why he remains at Shabana despite tendering resignation
Okoth has appeared to hint that Shabana officials are keeping him in charge of the club against his will.
In the aftermath of another defeat, pressure has undoubtedly mounted on Shabana's head coach Sammy Okoth, who had briefly resigned the previous weekend only to retract his decision.
Okoth avoided the limelight and the probing questions of the media, leaving Kambona to address the performance in the post-match interview.
"We played well, but we have to blame ourselves for the silly mistakes in the backline that led to us conceding goals. My boys played a good game; we created chances but failed to utilize them," Kambona stated, visibly frustrated by the outcome.
