Atletico Madrid striker Samu Omorodion's failed move to Chelsea has left more questions than answers with both parties now forced to find alternatives.

Samu Omorodion reportedly feels disrespected by Chelsea after his transfer to the London club collapsed over the weekend.

The striker had already undergone a medical with the club and was set to sign a long-term contract, but the agreement fell apart when Enzo Maresca's side attempted to purchase 50% of Omorodion's rights.

According to El Chiringuito TV, Omorodion felt disrespected by the proposal and rejected the offer outright.

The 20-year-old had initially been keen to join Chelsea, but the club's approach led him to change his mind.

This development will ripple effect on both teams' transfer business, as other moves, especially midfielder Conor Gallagher, depend on Omorodion's signing.

The Blues have now been forced to pursue Joao Felix as an alternative in order to keep the Gallagher exit alive.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid have unveiled new signing Julian Alvarez after paying 81 million pounds to sign the Argentine World Cup winner from Manchester City.

Alvarez will be expected to lead the line for manager Diego Simeone alongside fellow new recruit Alexander Sorloth.
