Anthony Martial's future at Manchester United is drawing particular attention, with Saudi Arabian club Al Ettifaq reportedly preparing a lucrative offer for the French forward.

According to Sportmole, Saudi Arabian club Al Ettifaq is preparing a significant offer for Manchester United forward Anthony Martial.

The proposed deal is estimated at €10 million (£8.6 million), aiming to secure Martial's services in the upcoming January transfer window.

Martial's Current Situation at Manchester United

Martial's contract with Manchester United is set to expire in June, with the club showing no intention to extend his stay for an additional year. Consequently, unless a mid-season transfer occurs, Martial could leave Old Trafford as a free agent at the end of the season.

During the 2023-24 season, Martial has been a constant presence in Manchester United's lineup, making 19 appearances across various competitions. Despite this, his impact has been limited, with only two goals and two assists to his name.

Recent Performances and Future Prospects

Martial's performance has been under scrutiny, especially after he played 56 minutes in Manchester United's 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth.

His recent illness also ruled him out of the Champions League clash against Bayern Munich. While expected to return for the upcoming match against Liverpool, his starting position remains uncertain, given teammate Rasmus Hojlund's struggles.

Transfer Rumors and Club Interest

Speculation about Martial's future is rampant, with several Saudi Arabian clubs reportedly monitoring his situation. Al Ettifaq's interest seems more concrete, especially after they previously considered, but eventually dropped, a move for Jadon Sancho due to financial reasons.

Currently, Al Ettifaq's attack is spearheaded by Moussa Dembele, with notable contributions from ex-Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum.

Broader Transfer Plans at Manchester United

Manchester United appear open to reshuffling their squad. Alongside Martial, players like Casemiro, Raphael Varane, Jadon Sancho, and Donny van de Beek are linked with moves away. This potential exodus could pave the way for manager Erik ten Hag to bring in new faces during the mid-season transfer window.
