SC Villa has banned James Kalibaala for life following numerous acts of hooliganism and indiscipline.
Sports Club Villa has cracked the whip and banished their fan James Kalibaala commonly known as Kabaliga from all club duties for life.
The club that is striving to return to its former glory suffered the hardest pinch this season as result of hooliganism that forced them to host matches in Lira.
Kalibaala was singled out for different counts of indiscipline cases that include repeated insults and threatening club officials and other participants.
According to the club, he was summoned to defend himself infront of a select disciplinary committee but he absconded.
"In the meeting of the Club select Disciplinary committee which sat on 8th May 2023 at the club offices, Mr. Lutaaya was invited to defend himself on allegations of abuse of the club rules and acts of hooliganism among others," Villa's press statement reads in part.
Guilty as charged
The committee found him guilty and banned him for life.
Kalibaala is among the culprits singled out for the ugly and violent scenes in the Jogooos StarTimes Uganda Premier League fixture against Wakiso that forced FUFA to slap the club with a five-match stadium ban as they ordered them to play from Lira.
"The club fans' leadership is dutifully informed not to register or accommodate him in any of the dans branches or activities.
"FUFA, the UPL and all memvers of the public are by this press release duly notified of the decision that has been taken by the club," the statement delivered the verdict.
