Prolific marksman Yunus Sentamu has resumed training with Vipers SC to put to an end any doubts cast against his future at the St Mary's Stadium, Kitende.

The forward had been granted an extended vacation by his side and thus, missed the first days of training, to fuel the speculation about a possible move away.

Several reports indicated he had been the subject of interest from clubs in Tanzania and Rwanda, but he's now all but certain of staying.

Sentamu is one of the senior players left at the club and with his undoubted ability, he's viewed as a key pillar for Vipers next season.

The Venoms intend to make louder and significant noise in the forthcoming CAF Champions League but also, keep competing domestically, hence retaining their core.

Sentamu is in his second spell at Kitende, having made a return in January 2021 and has been a major part of the team.
