Manchester City legend Sergio Aguero was spotted confronting a rival during a tense moment at The Soccer Tournament (TST).

Aguero's heart problem made him retire from professional football in 2021, but he has decided to have another taste of football.

The former Man City star played in a tournament that was introduced last year and played for a team named "Aguero Team."

The Argentine engaged in a fight with an opponent during a Say Word FC group stage encounter because he believed the player had tackled him too roughly.

During the game, Aguero received the ball on the brink of the penalty box, and Rothfuss, who plays for the Memphis Americans indoor team, challenged Aguero to win it.

The Argentine fell to the ground in response to the challenge, as Rothfuss seemed to leave a dangerous tackle on Aguero.

According to the Sun, Aguero was seen speaking at Rothfuss after standing up, pushing him, and kicking out at his leg.

The goalie, Ramius Stiehler, tried to break up the fight between Rothfuss and Aguero after the latter shoved Rothfuss with both arms.

The action was then stopped by the referee to address the situation, but he was not there when Lucas Fernandez of the Aguero Team entered the altercation by pushing Rothfuss.

After that, Aguero rolled down his sock and pointed out to the referee a mark that Rothfuss's earlier challenge had left on his shin.

However, despite the fight, Aguero’s team went on to lose the game 6-3, and Rothfuss ended up having the last laugh.
