Shabana have started the season poorly but can earn extra millions from their sponsor if they find form and finish among the top three in the FKF Premier League.
Shabana FC stands to earn at least Ksh3 million extra from their sponsor if they secure a top-three finish in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) this season.
Tore Bobe signed a Ksh20 million one-year sponsorship deal with betting firm Bangbet at the start of the season with a promise for an additional Ksh10 million if they are crowned champions.

FKFPL Shabana secure monumental medical support promise from Nairobi businessman
Nairobi businessman Dr. Eliud Seme pledges medical support to Shabana FC following their Premier League promotion, boosting team morale and community spirit.
But while that might prove difficult in what is their first season in the top flight in 17 years, Sammy Okoth’s men can still earn Ksh5 million and Ksh3 million extra if they either finish second or third respectively.
That has left club officials keeping their fingers crossed that the team can somehow find form and push higher up the table despite their poor start to the season which has seen them win just one of their opening six games.

FOOTBALL Shabana boss hits out at ‘plastic fans’ for destabilising the team
Shabana secretary general Elizaphan Kerama has lashed out at a section of the club’s supporters for being ‘plastic fans’ who are always keen to ensure the team does not succeed
“Top 10 should be the minimum. I am thinking of top five because there is that target within the team and sponsor. We want to give the fans something to celebrate,” said Shabana Secretary General Elizaphan Kerama.
“There is an agreement (with the sponsor) that if we finish first, they are ready to give us Ksh10 million extra but if we miss it and finish second, we get Ksh5 million extra while a third-place finish would earn us an additional Ksh3 million from them.

FKFPL Shabana coach Sammy Okoth bemoans stressful FIFA break amidst victory highs
Shabana FC clinched a 1-0 victory over Tusker on Friday, but coach Okoth expresses stress over the impending FIFA break, fearing it will disrupt their momentum
“This is a huge motivation from our sponsor and it is even more than the prize money that league winners have been awarded previously.”
Kerama’s targets contrast with what head coach Sammy Okoth has aimed for after revealing last month that a top 10 finish would be a good season for his charges given they are new to the league and need time to adapt.

FOOTBALL Shabana coach reveals his main target this season after winless start to the campaign
Shabana coach Sammy Okoth is still aiming higher despite not winning any of his side’s opening five league matches
Most newly-promoted teams always strive to escape relegation but the former Vihiga United coach is keen not to have his side dragged into a relegation fight by aiming for the top half of the table.
Whatever the target, however, Shabana will have to improve greatly as they just won their first game of the season last week, edging Tusker FC 1-0, after recording three draws and two defeats in their opening five games.

Tom Juma, recently sacked AFC Leopards coach, claims he's being scapegoated for deeper, unresolved issues within the struggling football team.
Okoth’s men will also need to score more as they have been shy in front of goal, managing just four in six games, while conceding five over the same period.
