The Glamour Boys seek to return to the top of the log after being dislodged by Murang’a Seal.

Brace yourselves for a footballing extravaganza that will leave you on the edge of your seat as the National Super League continues on Sunday with a feast of enthralling encounters that will ignite the love for the beautiful game.

The highlight of the day will be the Gusii Derby, where second-placed Shabana will take on Gusii FC at Simeon Nyachae Stadium in Kisii.

Gusii are ranked fifth on the table with 40 points, while Shabana are second on the log with 60 points from 26 matches they have played so far this season.

Kassim Junior's coached side is coming off a 2-0 defeat to Kibera Black Stars and a 2-1 loss to Naivas FC in their last two league matches.

On the other hand, the Glamour Boys defeated Black Stars at home last weekend to extend their winning run to seven matches.

In the previous meeting between the two sides, Gusii claimed a 1-0 win against Shabana; thus vengeance will be on the Glamour Boys.

"The first leg match had a lot of pressure and everyone wanted to win. When we met in February, we were leading the standings while Gusii were third but today the players have settled and they are not under any pressure," noted Shabana coach Sammy Okoth.

In the second match of the day, high-flying Migori Youth will welcome Kibera Black Stars at Migori Stadium.

Migori are coming off a 2-0 win over Coastal Heroes, and they will be banking on their home-ground advantage to reduce the gap between them and the leading pack, which stands at 11 points.

Migori's technical bench will look to Kevin Hagai, who has been in good form, having netted a brace in their previous outing against Coastal Heroes.

Kibera will face a Migori side brimming with confidence after beating Gusii FC 2-0 at home in a midweek clash.

The Slum Boys took all three points from Migori in the previous meeting, winning 2-0 in Nairobi.

The teams' five league meetings have produced eight goals and only one home victory for Migori Youth.

In other matches, Kisumu All Stars will welcome Naivas FC at Moi Stadium in Kisumu. At the same time, Vihiga United will visit SS Assad Shamu grounds in Kwale County, whereas MCF will entertain Coastal Heroes at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.
