Shabana FC youngster rallies fans for crucial FKF Premier League match against Muhoroni Youth.

Shabana FC winger Ezekiel Omuri is adamant that his team is set for a fierce battle, aiming for nothing less than a triumphant win against Muhoroni Youth in the upcoming FKF Premier League encounter.

This high-stakes match is scheduled for this Saturday at the Raila Odinga Stadium in Homabay, marking a critical juncture for both teams in the league.

The Michael Olunga Football Academy (MOFA) graduate has rallied fans to gather in droves, encouraging them to be the twelfth man in this Round of 17 match.

"We are going for maximum points this Saturday against Muhoroni Youth. I urge our fans to turn up in large numbers and cheer us on," Omuri stated with determination.

At just 17-years-old, Omuri has quickly risen to prominence within the Kenyan football scene.

His transfer from MOFA to Shabana at the beginning of the season marked a significant step in his career.

He made a notable impact in his Premier League debut against Kenya Police in September, becoming the youngest player to represent Tore Bobe in top-flight football.

His seven-year contract with Shabana underscores a mutual commitment and ambition between the player and the club.

Shabana is currently grappling with a recent setback, having suffered a 1-0 defeat to Bidco United before the festive season break.

This loss has placed them in a precarious position, ranking 16th in the FKF Premier League standings with 14 points, just a point shy of their upcoming opponents, Muhoroni Youth, who are 15th.

Muhoroni Youth, on the other hand, are looking to extend their two-match unbeaten streak.

Their last victory, a 1-0 triumph over Sofapaka in the final game of 2023, has given them a slight edge over Shabana FC in the standings
