Inter's hunt for Andre Onana's replacement could see them shell out a massive sum to Shakhtar for starlet Anatoliy Trubin
Ukrainian giants Shakhtar are looking to charge 2022/23 UEFA Champions League finalists Inter a premium fee for goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin as the Nerazzurri look for a replacement for Cameroonian Andre Onana.

Onana is expected to complete a move to Manchester United believed to be worth in excess of €50 million in the coming days, and Inter have been trying to sign a replacement for the goalkeeper as soon as possible to prevent clubs from jacking up prices due to the Cameroonian’s transfer.

The Nerazzurri have reportedly sounded out Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris as well as Bayern Munich’s Yann Sommer as possible replacements, but also have Shakhtar’s 21-year-old starlet Trubin as one of their options for the longer term.
Shakhtar slap hefty price tag on star goalkeeper
The Italian side have however been informed that a deal for the highly-rated young goalkeeper will not come cheap, with Shakhtar’s sporting director Darijo Srna suggesting that the club will reference the fee collected for winger Mykhailo Mudryk from Chelsea in any dealings for Trubin.
Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, Srna commented on a possible transfer for Trubin saying, “He has many offers and we are talking to many clubs, but everyone must understand one thing. If he leaves Shakhtar Donetsk, he will go to a top club for a top figure, like it was for Mudryk, and like it will be for [Heorhiy] Sudakov, [Artem] Bondarenko or [Mykola] Matvienko in the future.”
The Ukranian club are rumoured to have set a price tag of €35 million for Trubin despite the goalkeeper having only one year left on his current contract, while Inter value the goalkeeper around €10 - €12 million this summer.
