Chelsea failed to hold on to their lead as Sheffield United fought back late in the game to earn a draw.
The Blues were looking to build on their late dramatic win against Manchester United during the week but dropped points against relegation-threatening Sheffield.
Sheffield United ended up earning a draw with the game ending 2-2, putting Chelsea in 9th position.

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder made two changes following the Blades' 3-1 loss to Liverpool on Thursday. Oliver McBurnie and Ben Osborn came in for Vini Souza and James McAtee, who dropped to the bench.
There are three changes for Chelsea after their dramatic 4-3 win over Manchester United three days ago. Mauricio Pochettino handed a start to Trevoh Chalobah, Thiago Silva and Noni Madueke.
Chelsea opened the scoring in the 11th minute from their first corner which Conor Gallagher took and no Sheffield United player picked up Thiago Silva, who finished at the far post.
Sheffield equalised late on in the first half from a fine passage of play after Gustavo Hamer played a ball through the defence, Jayden Bogle chased it and then drove a shot in off the goalkeeper.
The second half started and Chelsea kicked off brightly and took the lead in the 52nd minute. Noni Madueke cut in from the right and drove the ball into the far corner leaving the goalkeeper helpless.
The home side did not relent and shocked Chelsea in injury time. The ball was headed into the box and Oli McBurnie was there to fire in from close range.
