Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) has officially secured the rights to broadcast the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2023, set to take place in Ivory Coast.
The tournament, which has been rescheduled to 2024, promises to be a thrilling showcase of African football talent, featuring 24 national teams.

"I am delighted on this important occasion of unveiling the agreement for the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation, acquisition of the free-to-air rights for the Africa Cup of Nations 2023," said Macharia.

The acquisition includes the rights to broadcast other regional events over the next two years, such as the CAF Champions League, CAF Confederation Cup, Women’s AFCON 2024, CAF Women’s Champions League 2024, CAF Beach Soccer Championships 2024, and the CHAN 2024, along with qualifiers for AFCON 2025.
